Create invention of an American expatriate, the San Jose Pirate Club is a short taxi trip from the area known as the gringo gulch. The bar is well stocked and often packed with enthusiastic and attractive women plying for the attentions of the male clientele. The onsite rooms are also quite nice despite frequent use on the weekends when many of the girls get on the bar and perform a rather unique show.
Originally the venue was the Bar Dandy, and was purchased in 2007 from the owner of Pension Idem, and substantially remodeled.
