Monkey Bar has for years been the hip place in Jaco to party. On a typical night there are many Ticas waiting to accompany a North American gentlemen. Occasionally the local celebrities draw a crowd and showcase their talent with a little fashion show.
Romantic adventure in Jaco is something that for most begins in the evening, and the Monkey Bar is where the action starts the earliest.
At least there is no cover as with the Beatle Bar, so there is nothing lost in coming for a drink with the hope that a few lovely Ticas may wander in early. The scene at the Monkey Bar can get pretty intense later in the evening as well.
