Colombian women account for some of the most attractive talent in Latin America, and soon they will be able to visit Costa Rica without advance approval from the government. The change comes as Costa Rica, Colombia, México, Perú and Chile work to implement a trade agreement in the framework of the Pacific Alliance.
Under the current system, Colombian nationals must already have a multi-entry visa to Canada or the United States, or appeal directly to the Costa Rican embassy in Bogota for a tourist visa. Under the new system, Colombians would be eligible to receive a tourist visa when they arrive in Costa Rica.
Criminals and undesirables would be denied entry if they have a record in their home country. The delay in setting up the system comes as the nations in the alliance setup their computer systems to share information online about their citizens. The system is similar to one that Canada uses to deny entry to United States citizens, convicted of DUI offenses in the states. Costa Rica is also working with the United States so that it can access criminal conviction information online for U.S. citizens when they enter the country or apply for residency.
The target date for the new rule is before the end of the current year. Once implemented, Colombian girls will be able to “vaction” in Costa Rica the same way they do in Panama. Many vacationing girls have a tendency to appear in online web sites and in various bars and night clubs in Panama City.
Of course the best Colombian talent comes from Medellin. Paisas as they are known are famous for their beauty and outgoing social nature.
